I have known Lisa since high school. (We won’t even talk about how long:) On Wednesday night, I had the pleasure of taking her engagement pics. My husband, Allan, went along as our chauffeur. We had so much fun! Attempting to take a picture while trying not to fall down from laughing is not an easy thing to do. Thanks for the amusement:) Congratulations! I look forward to the wedding.

Mallory is one of my daughter Taylin’s best friends. She is such a sweetie! Not only is she so very sweet, polite and BEAUTIFUL, but she is also very talented! She helped take our mind off the heat last night (no power- no A/C) with her game of charades. Also, I love, love, LOVE her hair:)

It was 9am and I was playing on the computer, I looked over at Jake and this is what I saw. He was sitting there so peacefully, holding his blanket and staring out the window which had the perfect amount of light filtering in.Yay me!
Even if I hadn’t had my camera right there to capture it, I was still thankful to have witnessed this sweet moment. So many people say that if their house was in danger of being destroyed all they would want out of it would be their pictures. Everything else can be replaced, but not those sweet moments frozen in time. That is what photography is to me… capturing those precious, magical moments to be able to enjoy and share forever.

LOL! Yes, my Tracer can be trouble, but mostly the aggravating, determined, self-confident kind;-) Thankfully, there isn’t a mean bone in him… just a lot of stubborn ones. We are thankful to be able to say that Tracer has a HUGE heart to go along with his brains and good looks. He keeps us on our toes and there is NEVER a dull moment when he is around.

Okay, couldn’t help but to laugh when I wrote that title! When we went out to this BEAUTIFUL place yesterday to take pictures, the last thing I expected was to come home covered in these parasites. YUCK! Well, I guess that I would have to say that it was one of the job hazards:P I probably wouldn’t have gotten so many if I would have stayed OUT of the bushes, but I wanted the perfect shot;-) Now that I have seen the results… it was worth it all! Thank you, Danielle, for allowing me to have fun with your gorgeous children!
