“She will fill our lives with sunshine… And our hearts with love.”

Little Miss Kayla came to visit me on Thursday, her 4 week birthday! She is my oldest “newborn” to date. Even though she was a bit older, she was still so tiny and precious. I could see that she inherited that from her sweet Mama. Grandma came along for the visit as well. She even asked me “Who are you? The Baby Whisperer?” after a bit of baby soothing. I think that was one of my highest compliments! Thank you for an enjoyable visit! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek.:)

“Born Together, Friends Forever”

On Wednesday, I packed up everything and headed to Jacksonville for a session with twin baby girls. They were just 7 days old and cute as can be. I had grand plans, but they reminded me real quick that it’s not so easy working with two.;)(I think I need lots more practice in this area:) These sweet hearts still managed to be picture perfect. Mom and Dad were helpful and so patient. Thank you! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

{ 6 days young }

This little doll came over to visit with me today. I met Mom this summer when I did big sister’s senior pictures. I was more than thrilled when they booked me for this precious doll’s first photo session. You will be seeing her again next month when I shoot the whole family. Thanks for your help today, Dad! You were a great spotter. Mom, it was good to see you again. I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek. Your daughter is already a rock star!;)

This image is misleading.  The blanket behind her head was to block a gentle breeze that came through today. There was no propping.  She totally rocked this pose.;)

Wow!!! Soooo cute!!

Dalton

This afternoon, I had the honor of spending a little time with precious Dalton. He is one of the cutest little guys that I have ever seen. He has a beautiful smile, bright blue eyes, and a cute cowlick in his blonde hair. Dalton also has ALD, Adrenoleukodystrophy, a rare inherited disorder, that leads to progressive brain damage, failure of the adrenal glands, and eventual death. There is no cure for this disorder. They received this diagnosis last Monday. Dalton is getting sicker each day. My heart is breaking for them and I can hardly type through the tears.  I can not possibly understand the pain that his family feels right now.

Understandably, Dalton’s mother, Tivey, took a leave-of-absence from her job to spend every possible moment with him. This family is hard-working, but medical bills and being reduced to one income has drained them. They not only need your prayers, but  also any monetary donation that you can afford. I will be donating 10% of my sales and session fees for the rest of the year. You can help them by clicking (HERE) to donate. You can also read more about sweet Dalton on that site.

Love You Forever
I’ll love you forever,
I’ll like you for always,
As long as I’m living
my baby you’ll be.
