I am kinda bad about throwing things in a stack and forgetting about it. Once in a while, I will go on a cleaning fit, pull up the trash can, and toss most everything. Today, I finally had enough of my medicine/kitchen cabinet. I simply couldn’t stand the sight of it anymore. It was making me anxious every time I had to open it. lol!
So, I bought this cool Rubbermaid Rubbermaid Pull Down Spice Rack, White (FG8020RDWHT), , White
(Click the link) It was a bit of a struggle for me to install simply because I didn’t want to take down the shelf for easy access. I don’t easily give up, so I eventually got it installed.Next, I pulled up the trash can and started tossing stuff left and right. It amazed me how much had expired. You don’t realize how much crap you have until you start organizing. haha! Well, I think the results are pretty awesome.
Isn’t the pull down thingy awesome?!?
With all the stuff either tossed or organized in the cabinet, I then had room to put some of my “oily life” containers/ingredients in the cabinet. Now, I have more room for my lab. [insert creepy scientist laugh] Speaking of my oils, I was asked where I got the cute shelf for my essential oils. Here it is —– Nail Polish Wall Rack- Acrylic Organizer and Display by D’Eco
Another struggle was keeping up with school/medical/accounts of me plus 4 kiddos. It was a mess. I would put something up so that I wouldn’t lose it and completely forget what I did with it. I was perusing Pinterest one day and came across this post. omg. Life changing. Seriously. I made the Family Binder and the Medical Binder. LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! I not only needed organization, but I wanted them to be cute, too. Yes, that’s silly, but if they were going to be sitting out and I had to look at them, I wanted them to be pretty. lol! I only wish that she would have shared the cute, printable binder spines.I searched for them, but couldn’t find them. I even tried a couple different ways to message the talented lady behind the blog, but never got a response. Oh well, I am still happy with them. Now, I have everything at my fingertips and file new stuff as it comes in. ❤ HERE is my Pinterest account if ya wanna take a look around. It’s filled with all kinds of recipes, decorating, organizing, special needs parenting, etc.
The other binder in that pic is my bill minder. It’s ugly, but functional. Now that I looked up the link, I see that they have cuter ones.Mead Organizher Expense Tracker, 8.5 x 11 Inches, Pink Poly (64049)
Having a financial binder was extremely important. It is broken down by month. I am able to write the date a bill is due, who to pay, how much to pay, when I pay it, and how I pay it. That way, I can always grab it and see what has been paid and what needs to be paid. TREMENDOUS help to me.
That’s all for today. Have a great weekend!!
