{ Welcome Home USS Farragut }

Today was a hot one, but you won’t dare find me complaining. I was out in the sun for an awesome reason. USS Farragut returned home safely after a 7 month deployment. I am in awe of not only what our sailors do for us, but also for what their families manage on a daily basis as well. They have my utmost respect. Below is just a few images that I captured today.

Take a close look at the sign on the ship. Amazing!

Cicley’s husband is taking a picture of his two beautiful girls.:)

Your welcome home images are some of my favorite sessions you shoot. If the light was not ideal, I didn’t notice: I was too wrapped up in the emotion pouring from the photographs. I love the one of the sailors scanning the crowd for their loved ones. And the moment when this family finally gets to embrace one another is so heartwarming! These are fantastic!

Christy, THANK YOU for being there for us (in that hot, hot sun!) to capture these moments that would have otherwise gone unseen by our family and friends! They are beautiful! I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate all you do with OpLove- what a wonderful gift you are giving to all these families.
