Last Tuesday, I had my first OpLove session since becoming a volunteer several months ago. I was excited and a bit nervous. I don’t know why because I have worked with many families that I had never met before. But, this family was different for me. This is a military family. This is a “single” Mom raising her children the best she can while her husband is deployed in a foreign land protecting you and I. I CAN NOT imagine the life of a military wife (or husband.) I just can’t. I have the upmost respect for all service personnel and their families. I have two nephews that I am quite proud of serving our country. Anyone who follows my work knows my wonderful and talented friend Kayse. Her husband is active military, too. I get to hear just a little bit of what she has to deal with on a daily basis. I couldn’t do what they do. So, I volunteer for this organization to offer something special for the deployed spouse.

Back to the pictures… I had a very active session with Charity and her family at the waterfront. This was the most challenging session ever. Her little fella did not want to take pics. He wanted to explore everything and everywhere. Well, he is only 3 about to be 4. So, who could blame him?!? haha! I think we got some great images for Dad anyway
