This past Sunday evening, I had the pleasure of spending time with the M family. This session was a long time in the making. We first started planning it this time last year and things kept getting in the way. We made a shot at it last spring, but we were sabotaged by gnats. Omgoodness!! (yes, I do notice the theme of my sessions and icky, creepy critters.) This time, nothing got in our way. Well, little H wasn’t exactly thrilled with the prospect, but the cutie pie didn’t cry. So, I think it was a success. How about you?

Being the mother of twin boys, I KNOW that quote is very, very true! Mine are so sweet, but very rotten, too. Yesterday, I finally got my wish to work with newborn twins. These little fellas are not quite newborns as they are almost 3 weeks old. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as challenging as I thought it would be. I was very blessed that they cooperated wonderfully. I was also blessed that I had help. Thank you to my BFF, Heather, and thank you to a great friend, Heather M., for sending the little ones my way!

Saturday evening was absolutely PERFECT for a senior session on the beach! Well, is was until man-eating flies began to swarm. Ouch, those things hurt! Anyway, I had the pleasure of spending the evening with Elise and her Mom. Beautiful weather, great conversation, pretty scenery, and a gorgeous senior. I think all of that should make for awesome images. What do you think?

My Saturday morning was spent chasing two little fellas other than my own. I had a session with the G family who drove all the way from Jax to spend some time on the farm. They had a blast and I got my workout on by playing tag, hide & seek, and peek-a-boo. While the smiles weren’t there in the beginning, they sure were big by the end! Here is a little peek at our morning.

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of working with Leah again. The last time (click here) we worked on her senior pictures, a terrible lightning storm ruined our fun. Well, it was nothing but hot, clear weather for us this time. Leah was different in the aspect that she wanted all of her pictures taken in Folkston. So, I was wracking my brain for cool ideas. I surprised even myself with some of the places I found :) Enjoy round two of the sneak peek! Also, I’ll be adding more along the way to my facebook page, too.

To say that I had a blast last night with Justin and his Mom, Paula, would be an understatement! At times, I laughed until my sides hurt. We had beautiful (and some a bit creepy) locations to shoot Justin’s senior pictures. Only a few times did we get sidetracked by ticks, ants (the size of elephants,) private property signs, and ghosts. All in all, I think the results were totally worth it! Here are just a tiny few that we managed to capture last night. Enjoy!

Anyone who knows me knows that my absolute favorite sessions are the newborns. Are they easy??? NO! lol! But, they are so worth it. I love the challenge of soothing them when they are fussy and getting swoon worthy images for their parents. Very rarely have I had one sleep the entire time. On the contrary, they tend to wake very often and easy. Usually, the sessions last 2-3 hours. Yes, I did say 2-3 HOURS. You have to allow time for feeding, rocking, soothing, and diaper changing.
Today, Miss Lucy was my most challenging subject to date. She did very little sleeping. But, omgoodness, she was so sweet and beautiful!!! Mom, Dad, and Aunt were very doting and helpful. For first time parents, they were extremely calm and knew just what little Lucy needed. Thank you for inviting me into your home to share in this joyous time!

Yesterday morning Tayler and I got together for part one of her senior pictures. She chose the MOST requested setting, a small local farm. The plan was to get a few pics there and then head to the beach last evening. Well, a fantastic lightning storm cancelled that goal. Plan B is to shoot it tonight, but it’s beginning to look like that may not happen either. Anyway, I think we captured some pretty good images to hold you over. Enjoy!

Last night, we started on Leah’s senior pictures. She chose a “country” setting to start our session. Well, due to a little rain, but a LOT of lightning, we had to end the session there, too. Never fear, we will get together again for more looks/locations of the beautiful Leah! Until then, enjoy a few that we did manage to capture.

Sweet, handsome, little Cullen is turning one. If you have followed my blog, then you have seen this adorable fella starring numerous times. I happen to think his Mom is an absolute doll. (Ok, Dad is alright, too:) So, we get together every chance we can. Cullen’s big day isn’t until next month, but his party theme is “Down on the Farm.” Well, you know that means that we have to take some country pics! Here ya go!!!
