{ Cullen is turning 1 }

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

Sweet, handsome, little Cullen is turning one. If you have followed my blog, then you have seen this adorable fella starring numerous times. :) I happen to think his Mom is an absolute doll. (Ok, Dad is alright, too:) So, we get together every chance we can. Cullen’s big day isn’t until next month, but his party theme is “Down on the Farm.” Well, you know that means that we have to take some country pics! Here ya go!!!

Happy early birthday little man!

{ Welcome baby Wyatt }

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

 Yesterday, I went and visited with sweet, baby Wyatt, his adorable, big sister, and beautiful Mommy. Oh, he was so precious! The images we were after are very special. You see, this was another of my OpLove sessions. Daddy didn’t get to come home for the birth of his baby boy. :( So, it was my job to get some photographs of his wonderful family to surprise him. I think he will love them.

{ mine on monday }

Monday, July 5th, 2010

While I was working on wedding pictures this morning, I looked over at Jake. He was sitting on the dining room table. (This is his new favorite place.) He looked so beautiful that I ran and grabbed my camera. I love his full, kissable lips. I love his thick, curly hair. I love his gorgeous blue eyes. I love his sweet laugh. I LOVE JAKE!

haha! In the next image, Jake is giving me the sign for “all done.” Photo shoot is over.

If you knew him, you would love him, too. ;)

Little Miss G was such a treat this morning. Everything was a new discovery. It was the first time for shells, the beach, and sand between her toes. She was a pure delight to photograph as she explored her surroundings. Yes, Mom, you were very blessed to have such a sweet-natured child first. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek, which isn’t very small because they all turned out so well that it was hard to pick just a couple.

{ Golden Friends }

Friday, June 11th, 2010

You know those types of friends that it doesn’t matter how long it has been since you have seen them, but you can pick up a conversation like it was just yesterday??? Well, Michelle is one of those friends for me. We were extremely close in high school and were able to catch up last year when I did a family shoot for her sweet Dad. Now, we keep up on facebook. :)

She asked me a couple of months ago about a session with her children when she came up for a visit. Today was finally the day. I have always thought Michelle was one of the most beautiful girls, inside and out. You can clearly see that her children have their Mama’s good genes! I had a great time today catching up and look forward to her next visit.

{ Happy, Happy Birthday to Kayden! }

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Mr. Kayden last year. He has grown soooo much since then, but is still such a cutie! Right now, Kayden and his family are having a HUGE 1st birthday celebration. This morning, we dodged the yellow flies, rode the John Deere tractor, the golf cart, and smashed a cake. Here is just a small preview of what’s to come. :)

LOVED this little crab crawl, but it looks like a football stance in the pics. I would say we have a future Bulldawg here, except for the fact that his family would kill me. They just happen to be the biggest Florida Gator fans ever! ;)

Isn’t this a  gorgeous cake???  Kayden didn’t seem to know what to think about it. :)

{ Military Mommy }

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

“The men and women who serve in our military have won for us every hour we live in freedom, sometimes at the expense of the very hours of the lifetimes they had hoped to live.” – Bob Riley

After several weeks of back-and-forth emails, I had the pleasure to meet up with this crew. Mom was oh so sweet and the boys were adorable. Mom does have her hands full while Dad is deployed, but I think she handles it with such grace! As you can see, Mom is expecting. Her family will be blessed with another precious baby boy next month. (I’ll post the pics when he arrives.)
For now, here is a sneak peek of yesterday’s session for your viewing pleasure. How cute can one family be???

This little doll came along for the fun. Yes, her mom is just as beautiful as she is. Anyway, you will get to see more of them in a couple of months. ;)

{ Blessed Beyond Words }

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

I just wanted to share with you all what my oldest daughter, Tori, wrote to me. Needless to say, I am sharing this AFTER I dried the tears!

“Happy Mother’s Day Mama!!:). I love you so very much. And I thank God that he gave me such a wonderful,beautiful,and gorgeous,loving,caring,special mother like you. Thank you mama for everything. I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for me over the years. You have provided me with a roof over my head, clothes on my back,and shoes on my feet,and food on my table, and a good place to sleep, and everything else. You have gone out of your own way to provide me with everything, enough I don’t deserve anything that you have done for me. But I still thank you anyway. God Bless you Mama.(: And just let him keep on blessing you like you deserve to be. I love you Mama.(:”

LOL! Now, you see why I don’t share any group shots of my babies. :P It’s impossible to get a “good” shot of all 5. I literally took only these 4 pics that day. I was gung-ho ready to capture the sweetness and it quickly went downhill. haha! It’s my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. ;-)   I wish you all a Happy Mother’s Day!

{ Triple the Blessings }

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

I must admit that I was a bit anxious about this morning’s session with triplets.  I mean, I have two 3 year olds, but this would be three 2 year olds. :) I hadn’t been around them before, so I had no idea what to expect. Well, let me tell you, these babies were so sweet and so much fun. We ran. We fell down. We laughed. We blew bubbles. We sat in the swing. We stepped in ants. You get the picture. We were VERY active! I got a workout to go along with lots of adorable images. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek, Traci, because there are tons more coming your way!

{ Mine on Monday }

Friday, February 12th, 2010

A few weeks ago, I blogged a post about Jake. Meet his twin brother, Jesse. He is the most into-every-thing little fella you will ever meet. He is stubborn and determined. He has a temper that will make you laugh. Well, for now it does :) He also has the most impish smile and the best sense of humor. He has sweet kisses and loves to sing. We can’t understand very much of what he is saying just yet, but there is no doubt that HE understands what he is saying. He is also mildy, developmentally delayed. His speech is behind, but he is coming along. There is NEVER a dull moment with this little tornado around;-)
Yep, Jesse got too quiet. Look where I found him! Notice the mess that he caused in Tracer’s room. See the open guinea pig cage?!? Yes, the pet is safe. Also, notice his little rear hanging off the side of the dresser.  <
No sooner than I pulled him off the dresser and stopped to pick up the mess he made, I heard him on my desk. This has to be his FAVORITE place to climb. That is the main reason that I am working on the poolhouse for an office.
He thought THIS was hilarious!
My boys are finally starting to play together, but look what they do. Little Jesse (he is 2lbs and 2 inches smaller than Jake) is the leader and Jake is his follower.
BEFORE the nap…
AFTER the nap… notice the pile of clothes on the floor.
I walked into the room and said… “Jesse, what are you doing?” He turned and put his little finger to his lips and said… “shhhhhh.”     LMBO!
I LOVE this picture from last fall at my Mom’s. It was the last time I got him to sit still for a pic. Well, almost:)

Oh yea, you probably noticed something new here. :) Yep, a new blog! LOVE this one. It has all the features that I was missing in my old, new blog. It is very user and viewer friendly. I am still in the process of transferring posts and working out kinks, but I love it already. I mentioned that already, didn’t I? Be sure and hit the “home” button above and look around. Have a great day!
