Now that my senior casting call is over, I can focus on my newborn casting call. Back in February, I posted here, looking for the wee-little ones to practice my skills. You see, I’m starting to believe that newborns are my passion. Out of all the sessions I do, the newbies have become my absolute favorite. The problem is, they don’t come around very often. 
I researched all the hints and tricks for working with them. I even bought lots of cool, simple (so as not to take the attention away from the baby) props. Actually, I came home with a few antique ones from my weekend getaway to St. Augustine. Yea, I know, I already posted that on the “fan/liker” page this past weekend. heehee, I couldn’t wait! 
Since the facebook page has grown tremendously, with thanks to the senior contest, I realized that there are lots of new people that haven’t heard of my newborn casting call. Well, here is the info…
- It’s for babies under 3 weeks old, prefereably less than 10 days old. (Don’t we all LOVE seeing the newness of that umbilical cord?!?)
- There is no session fee.
- All edited proofs will be hosted on my website in a password protected slideshow. You are welcome to send the link to whomever you want to be able to view and purchase your pictures. This way, I handle the stress of ordering and getting the prints to everyone and you get to sit back and enjoy the results.
- Any prints you decide you want to purchase will be 10% off retail.
- Special goodies for multiples.
That’s it! It’s that simple. So, if you or someone you know is expecting a baby soon or already has a newbie, be sure and tell them about this casting call.
Yesterday, I finally got my wish to work with newborn twins. These little fellas are not quite newborns as they are almost 3 weeks old. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as challenging as I thought it would be. I was very blessed that they cooperated wonderfully. I was also blessed that I had help. Thank you to my BFF, Heather, and thank you to a great friend, Heather M., for sending the little ones my way!
