My Saturday morning was spent chasing two little fellas other than my own.
I had a session with the G family who drove all the way from Jax to spend some time on the farm. They had a blast and I got my workout on by playing tag, hide & seek, and peek-a-boo. While the smiles weren’t there in the beginning, they sure were big by the end! Here is a little peek at our morning.

{ Class of 2011 } TAYLER style- pt. 1
Sunday, August 22nd, 2010Yesterday morning Tayler and I got together for part one of her senior pictures. She chose the MOST requested setting, a small local farm. The plan was to get a few pics there and then head to the beach last evening. Well, a fantastic lightning storm cancelled that goal. Plan B is to shoot it tonight, but it’s beginning to look like that may not happen either.
Anyway, I think we captured some pretty good images to hold you over. Enjoy!

{ LEAH } take one
Wednesday, August 18th, 2010Last night, we started on Leah’s senior pictures. She chose a “country” setting to start our session. Well, due to a little rain, but a LOT of lightning, we had to end the session there, too.
Never fear, we will get together again for more looks/locations of the beautiful Leah! Until then, enjoy a few that we did manage to capture.

{ Cullen is turning 1 }
Tuesday, August 17th, 2010Sweet, handsome, little Cullen is turning one. If you have followed my blog, then you have seen this adorable fella starring numerous times.
I happen to think his Mom is an absolute doll. (Ok, Dad is alright, too:) So, we get together every chance we can. Cullen’s big day isn’t until next month, but his party theme is “Down on the Farm.” Well, you know that means that we have to take some country pics! Here ya go!!!
Happy early birthday little man!

{ Family is LOVE }
Wednesday, August 11th, 2010I had a session this morning with my sweet nieces and nephew. It was warm with a great breeze. I was surprised when all three said they had fun. except Emma admitted that she was ready to come home and play with my rugrats. ![]()
I can’t believe how much they have grown since last summer. They leave soon to go back home to Germany. (Dad is in the Air Force) We always miss them bunches! Hope you enjoy these images, Matt and Briana.

“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art… It has no survival value; rather is one of those things that give value to survival.” ~C. S. Lewis

{ Golden Friends }
Friday, June 11th, 2010You know those types of friends that it doesn’t matter how long it has been since you have seen them, but you can pick up a conversation like it was just yesterday??? Well, Michelle is one of those friends for me. We were extremely close in high school and were able to catch up last year when I did a family shoot for her sweet Dad. Now, we keep up on facebook.
She asked me a couple of months ago about a session with her children when she came up for a visit. Today was finally the day. I have always thought Michelle was one of the most beautiful girls, inside and out. You can clearly see that her children have their Mama’s good genes! I had a great time today catching up and look forward to her next visit.

{ laughter }
Wednesday, June 9th, 2010I laughed during this evening’s session more than I have ever laughed during a session before. I laughed until my sides were hurting. So, I believe that I titled this post very appropriately. I have tons of “candids,” as Charles would say. They just may pop up here and there. ![]()
Just a bit of background info on this couple… their’s was the very first wedding I ever photographed. It took a bit of coaxing on her part, but, thankfully, Chrissy had more confidence in me than I did in myself! I can’t believe it’s already been two years.
Thanks for a great time and hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

“A perfect summer day to a little boy means, a scrape on the knee, mud on his face and collecting bugs in the garden.”
Saturday, June 5th, 2010Today’s session has been planned since last Christmas and, maybe, it should have been shot last winter, too.
It was more than a little warm today, but it didn’t get sweltering just yet. Little Mr. G kept us moving and there was a slight breeze. So, we didn’t completely melt. GeeMa didn’t think Mr. G would like the camera too much. Boy, was she wrong. Just look at this little fella cheese it up.
Thank you for taking me to such a beautiful place! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek. There are many more to come.
This next one was a “requested” shot. Ms. Susan, did we do it right?

{ Military Mommy }
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010“The men and women who serve in our military have won for us every hour we live in freedom, sometimes at the expense of the very hours of the lifetimes they had hoped to live.” – Bob Riley
After several weeks of back-and-forth emails, I had the pleasure to meet up with this crew. Mom was oh so sweet and the boys were adorable. Mom does have her hands full while Dad is deployed, but I think she handles it with such grace! As you can see, Mom is expecting. Her family will be blessed with another precious baby boy next month. (I’ll post the pics when he arrives.)
For now, here is a sneak peek of yesterday’s session for your viewing pleasure. How cute can one family be???

This little doll came along for the fun. Yes, her mom is just as beautiful as she is. Anyway, you will get to see more of them in a couple of months. ![]()
