Last night, I had a session with not one, but two beautiful families. Seriously, how cute can these kids AND teens get?!? Wow! Moms, hope you like what you see because there is lots more to come.

Sunday, May 9th, 2010I just wanted to share with you all what my oldest daughter, Tori, wrote to me. Needless to say, I am sharing this AFTER I dried the tears!
“Happy Mother’s Day Mama!!:). I love you so very much. And I thank God that he gave me such a wonderful,beautiful,and gorgeous,loving,caring,special mother like you. Thank you mama for everything. I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for me over the years. You have provided me with a roof over my head, clothes on my back,and shoes on my feet,and food on my table, and a good place to sleep, and everything else. You have gone out of your own way to provide me with everything, enough I don’t deserve anything that you have done for me. But I still thank you anyway. God Bless you Mama.(: And just let him keep on blessing you like you deserve to be. I love you Mama.(:”

It’s impossible to get a “good” shot of all 5. I literally took only these 4 pics that day. I was gung-ho ready to capture the sweetness and it quickly went downhill. haha! It’s my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I wish you all a Happy Mother’s Day!

Saturday, May 8th, 2010This morning I had a session with Miss Abby and her Mom’s family. Miss Abby’s image won Best of 2009. With it, she won two photo sessions, one to keep and one to giveaway. Last weekend was a HUGE family shoot with her Dad’s family. Today was Mom’s family’s turn with me. I have known this family for a very long time. Through the years, they have become dear to my heart. If you need something, just ask. They are always ready, willing, and able. Here is just a few of the wonderful images we captured today and I already have a favorite. Can you guess which one???

Saturday, May 8th, 2010When you have my job, you get to experiment a lot. If you are like me, you have LOTS of ideas, some work… some don’t. haha! Last night was one of those nights. Mom had the idea of a field with red tips. I had the idea of furniture. Hmmm, let’s just say it didn’t work so well. The sun was still waaaay too bright and waaaay too warm. Fortunately, I did have the good idea to use a partially cleared lot across from the field first. So, we got lots of great family pics before the heat and blinding light. Also, we were lucky enough NOT to step on a snake since the lot was covered in wild blackberries. This fact further backs my promise that you will ALWAYS get an adventure with me. Done with the small talk now. Here are a few of the pics!

Lucky for me that Daddy could watch the sick little ones today so that I could run out to Joanna’s for a family session. We have been trying to get this together for quite a while now, but the weather and illnesses kept making us reschedule. Well, we finally made it today. Thanks for the fun! This past weekend, I was able to go “home” for a long weekend. Have I ever told you how much I LOVE Tennessee??? I do! If I had my choice, that’s where we would be:) I only managed to snag a few pics because my camera was the last thing on my mind. We had our 5 plus my sister’s 3 running through Nana’s house all weekend. Can you say Excedrin? haha. Just kidding. It was a blast.
